Information about Fees & FAQs
What is the cost of therapy?
I charge $140 per standard-length therapy session. This rate is the same for individual, couples and family therapy.
*Please note that for couples who are seeking one of my 8-week curriculum-based series, the cost is $100 per session. Read more here.
Do you accept insurance?
Yes! At this time I am in network with:
Premera Blue Cross
LifeWise Health Plan of Washington
Blue Cross Blue Shield (certain plans, reach out to verify)
If you have insurance with one of these carriers and would like to pay for therapy through insurance, I am happy to bill your carrier directly.
If you have insurance with another carrier, I would be considered an out-of-network provider. Some people can receive a reimbursement from their insurance for out-of-network coverage. If this is the case for you, I can provide you with a receipt to submit to your insurance. Please note that you are responsible to contact your insurance and see if they would provide reimbursement for an out-of-network Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist Associate (LMFTA). If you would like assistance with this, please give me a call and I'm happy to help guide you through the process.
How long is a therapy session?
Each session is between 50-60 minutes. This range gives us the flexibility to end the session in a place that feels right for both of us.
What is the frequency of therapy?
I have both weekly and bi-weekly times available.
Do you offer sliding scale fees?
I understand that paying for therapy is rarely easy. I wish I could offer many sliding scale openings, but at this time, I am only able to work with a small number of sliding scale clients at any given time.
You are welcome to inquire if I currently have sliding scale openings. I do ask that you only request them if you need them. This increases accessibility for those who can only pay for therapy via sliding scale.
